Chilli Chilli Bang Bang is a romantic comedy set in the Indian world of Chatsworth, Durban in South Africa.

Synopsis
This is the story of love lost and love regained... at great lengths.
Sunny is a hardcore agoraphobic. He's also the local Indian wedding video editor and edits the occasional hardcore porn flick.
Working on his edits, Sunny witnesses hundreds of Indian weddings. Over and over again it’s the same thing.
Two people on a stage, on thrones, surrounded by glitter, costume jewellery, family politics and high-pitched music.
From the monotony he sees, Sunny loses all hope in the existence of true love.
Until he sees a dancing girl in the videos he edits, Layla, awkwardly dance and fall into the wedding cake; she nonchalantly gets up and walks out smiling.
Sunny senses that she is as detached from the proceedings as he is.
Sunny has to choose between Layla and his parent’s constant wife arranging as well as fight for her heart
against a big time Bollywood producer who is also after Layla, but for a different reason.
Sunny usually turns to his mentor, Ghandi, for support but this time he has to rely on himself to make the biggest decision of his life.
